Lady Gaga Tour

Lady Gaga Taps into Her Spiritual Side on New Album

Posted by Chase Jackson On May 24, 2010

Lady Gaga, in an interview with London’s The Times, delves deep into a variety of different topics, including religion, wealth, health, love and life to name a few.  From what it sounds like, she will be addressing all of these things with her new album.

Gaga told The Times, you know the saying if you could in one sentence say who you are and what your life’s about, that’s it.  That’s the whole album.  I recently had a miracle-like experience.  I feel more connected with God.

When Caitlin Moran from The Times asked Lady Gaga to clarify, she was clear that her new album wouldn’t be shying away from such subjects as religion and God, but that the scope would not be limited only to her Christian upbringing.  She explained that the goal was exploring in a broader, all-encompassing sense.

Gaga says, it’s more spiritual.  I can’t say too much.  I want things to remain a secret until the album comes out.  I will say this, religion is quite confusing for everybody, especially me.  I feel there isn’t any religion that doesn’t condemn or hate a certain type of people.  I completely believe in not excluding anyone and in forgiveness and love.

Lady Gaga also said that despite that fact that she was in the middle of her world tour that is seemingly endless, that every day she is recording music.  She says, in fact, that she has almost completed most of  the new album that will follow up her incredibly successful “The Fame Monster” and “The Fame.”  However, she was silent about when her fans would be able to hear it.

Gaga said, I can’t say yet.  Everyone will f—ing know when it is going to come out.
