Lady Gaga hasn’t ever been shy when it comes to expressing herself.  The singer is now revealing even more through a new candid interview where she discusses past hard times, drug use and her sex life.

In an interview with Vanity Fair that will be published in the magazine’s September Style issue, she said yes I have sex, however I’m not promiscuous.

Lady Gaga, twenty four year old singer who was born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, reportedly is back with Luc Carl, her ex musician and bartender boyfriend.

Although it may appear that Lady Gaga right now is on top of the world, the singer revealed a troubled past that is fairly recent.

Speaking of an unspecified past incident, Lady Gaga revealed that she hit rock bottom.  It was enough for sending someone over the edge.  When my mother head about the truth that day she screamed loudly on the phone.  It’s something I will never forget.  She said, I will come and get you.

Lady Gaga, instead of going into rehab, chose the support and care from her grandmother.

Recalling the time spent with her grandmother in West Virginia Gaga said, I cried.  I told my grandmother I thought I had no hope and my life was completely over.  I worked very hard.  I know I am good.  What should I do now.  She told me, I will let you cry a couple more hours.  When those hours are up, you will stop crying, pick yourself up and head back to New York where you will kick some ass.
