Alisa Apps, the new YouTube sensation who just landed herself a record deal after a video of hers performing the cut “How Do I Make it Right”, which would appear in her debut release, was seen by more than a million YouTube viewers, has called out Grammy Award winning performer and pop-dance diva Lady Gaga to a public sing-off.
Apps wanted the challenge to be televised and be held either at the Madison Square Garden in New York City or at the O2 Arena in London. The newcomer wanted to take down the flamboyant and theatrical “Bad Romance” singer to give “people a chance to choose which they prefer – plastic or real”.
In a press release, Apps said that she “feel[s] sorry for Lady Gaga” as she is forced to be like a “plastic doll” as concocted by “music money marketing machine[s]”.
As of press time, Lady Gaga who is currently in the midst of her “Monster Ball” world tour, has still yet to give a comment.
