Lady Gaga, the flamboyant pop superstar, has announced fall plans for her “The Monster Ball Tour.” It will launch a few days following the release next month of “The Fame Monster,” her new expanded album.

The North American trek will kick off in Montreal on November 27 and a few other Canadian dates will follow before the outing heads into the US. The 18 theater visits include several engagements of two nights including Boston on December 1-2, Vancouver on December 9-10 and Chicago on January 8-9. Her fall-winter tour will wrap up at Radio City Music Hall in New York City for a stand of two nights.

Kid Cudi will support the trek. According to the website of Lady Gaga, the outing will be an experience of multimedia and the first pop electro opera.

Lady Gaga earlier this month revealed plans for releasing an expanded “The Fame” version, which was the singer’s multi-platinum debut album. Re-named “The Fame Monster” this expanded set will added eight new songs. The album is set to be released on November 24.

Lady Gaga posted a message on her website that said you have 96 hours exactly to learn the lyrics. That way you’ll be able to sing along. Dress accordingly.

Last summer Lady Gaga released her debut album with a major label, “The Fame.” The set peaked in the No. 4 position on Billboard’s 200 chart and spawned the hit singles “Poker Face” and “Just Dance.” Two additional tracks, “LoveGame” and “Paparazzi” were No. 6 and No. 5 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

Earlier in the month, Lady Gaga and Kayne West canceled their scheduled co-headlining tour. No reason for the cancellation was confirmed. West did tell Jay Leno recently that he was planning on taking some time off.

Lady Gaga Goes Solo After Kanye Tour Cancellation

Recently, Lady Gaga told MTV News the decision for canceling her co-headlining tour with Kayne West entitled “Fame Kills” had been a mutual one.

Reportedly, Lady Gaga’s solo tour will be kicking off one week later than her tour that had been scheduled with West. Venues and dates have not been confirmed for the new trek yet.

According to Lady Gaga, the tour’s look will be quite different that what they had been planning for their “Fame Kills Tour.” At the event Women in Music sponsored by Billboard Lady Gaga told reporters, in terms of the creative work Kayne and I had planned to do together I won’t be performing things designed for that tour. It’s going to be completely new and be a memorable and amazing epic.

Speculation regarding why the “Fame Kills Tour” was canceled include poor ticket sales and creative differences. TMZ reported that early ticket sales didn’t meet expectations. Anti-West sentiment is attributed to that. West has been embroiled in controversy since interrupting the acceptance speech of Taylor Swift’s during the ceremony for the MTV Video Music Awards that were held last month.

According to Lady Gaga there will be an announcement soon concerning who will join her on the tour.

Kanye West, Lady Gaga Tour Canceled

According to Live Nation, concert promoter, Lady Gaga and Kayne West’s “Fame Kills” co-headlining three month tour has been canceled.

Neither artists’ representatives or Live Nation announced any reason why the tour has been canceled. Last month West did tell Jay Leno that he was planning to take time off after his outburst during the acceptance speech of Taylor Swift’s at the MTV Video Music Awards in September.

West’s appearance on Leno was before Lady Gaga and West announced plans for a tour of 34 cities which was to have kicked off in Phoenix on November 10 and wrap up in January.

Live Nation has stated that fans who have purchased tickets will be refunded at the point where they purchased their tickets. Online and phone purchases will receive automatic refunds through the credit card companies of the ticket purchasers.

TMZ.com has reported that the reason the tour was canceled was because of poor ticket sales. Laurieann Gibson, Lady Gaga’s choreographer, posted at Twitter that it was due to creative differences between Gaga and West.

Last month West was heavily criticized when he interrupted Swift’s Best Female Video acceptance speech. He grabbed the microphone from Swift and insisted Beyonce should have won the award for “Single Ladies.”

In the days after the incident West defended his actions on his blog. He ultimately did apologize to Swift and later deleted any mention of the event, including his apology, from his website.

Last month West told Leno on The Jay Leno Show’s premiere episode, there are so many celebrities out there they don’t ever take any time off. I never really have taken any time off. It’s been tour after tour, music after music. I’m ashamed my hurt has caused someone else to hurt. What my dream for what an award show is supposed to be, I won’t try to justify that. I was wrong, period.

After this I need to take time off. I need to analyze how I will make it through for the rest of my how. How I can improve.
