Lady Gaga Plans 30 City Trek with Kanye West

Kayne West, after grabbing most of the headlines at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday with another outburst at an award show, has announced dates for the much anticipated tour with Lady Gaga, his fellow fashion and pop star.

The “Fame Kills Tour” will kick off in Phoenix on November 10. So far the trek has been scheduled for arena shows in over 30 cities in North America through January.

There were some doubts for a while whether the much anticipated tour was going to go forward. Kayne West first announced plans for the tour when he appeared on “The View” in June On September 14 he appeared on The Jay Leno Show’s debut episode and offered an apology for his outburst at VMA, when he walked on stage unexpectedly during the acceptance speech of Taylor Swift’s for her Best Female Video award and grabbed the microphone, complaining that Beyonce should have received the award.

West said to Leno that there were so many celebrities who never took any time off. I haven’t ever really taken any time off. It’s just been tour after tour and music. I’m ashamed. My hurt caused another person to hurt. My dream for what an award show should be is something I can’t justify. I was wrong.

After this I need to take a break. I need to analyze things and figure out how to improve and get through life.

For several days after he appeared on Leno’s show West remained silent. He also personally called Swift after Taylor told “The View” hosts that West hadn’t tried to contact her. On September 17 West wrote on his website, comparing himself to “The Truman Show” protagonist played by Jim Carrey in the 1998 movie where a man lives his life not knowing he stars in a reality show on television.

West, the winner of 10 Grammy awards, continues supporting his fourth studio effort “808s & Heartbreak” released last year in addition to all the controversy.

“The Fame” the 2008 debut album from Lady Gaga, has spawned two hit singles: “Poke Face” and “Just Dance,” which received a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. On Sunday Lady Gaga was named VMA’s Best New Artist.
